Well done big Ed!

EDERSON WINS THIRD SUCCESSIVE GOLDEN GLOVE AWARD

Ederson has won the coveted Premier League Golden Glove award after keeping 20 clean sheets this season.

The City keeper shares the accolade with his international team-mate Alisson Becker, who also recorded 20 shutouts.

It is the third successive year that the Brazilian has won the prize, having done so in 2019/20 and 2020/21.

Incredibly, with 91 shutouts in 182 Premier League appearances for City, Ederson averages a clean sheet in every other game.

In reaching 20 this season, he has also equalled his own personal record set in 2018/19.

Last January, the 28-year-old, considered by many to be the best goalkeeper in the world, also became the first custodian to have played at least 100 Premier League matches and kept a clean sheet in 50 percent of them.

Everyone at Manchester City congratulates Ederson on another remarkable achievement.

Is he injured or was that a professional timewaste attempt?

I loved that. He wasn't taking any chances after Madrid.

Fair play ed. And fair play for the time wasting at the end.

I thought he could have done better for the first goal so his shot stopping still worries me a bit, but overall he's worth a lot of points to us with his style so I guess we've to take the good with the bad.

He's some character too
