I think my favourite story from last night was the man interviewed who had paid £1,000 and was complaining he couldn't get into the ground. His reason? The French police had ruined his ticket, so it wouldn't scan.

Not the fact he'd bought it from a non-legit source.

Not the fact it was blatantly a fake.

Not the fact that thousands of ticketless fans crowded round the entrance, meaning those with genuine tickets couldn't get in.

That sums up their mentality. It couldn't be his fault, or the fault of anyone like him.
