I miss his penalties! He just used to boot the fuck out of the ball  Even if the keeper got anything on it, it was going in the back of the net anyway.

Didn't have a great record on pens, missed 1 in 3 in his career.

Me in my blue tinted specs couldn't quite believe that, so I checked.

His overall record is about that, 11 missed out of 36, but for City he missed 3 out of 16.

It's poor whichever way you look at it. Even his City record is no better than Mahrez who has missed 2 out of 11.
We were spoilt with Yaya.

Would give my right arm to see him in this current team.
A great striker, but a mad bastard.

What a player. Signing Tevez and Welcome to Manchester was brilliant, but his performances in a blue shirt even better.

As mentioned already mentioned can you imagine him operating in the current side.

Did Yaya ever miss a penalty in his career? Incredible spot kick taker, with Mendieta the best I've ever seen.
Mario was something also.

Didn't he hit the post once?

Sad to say but the other one was Cantona. I think he only missed one too but these guys make it look so easy that it's amazing how many our players miss for the last 20 years at least

Remember the full back from West Ham in the 80s? Ray Stewart? Used to just leather it in the top corner and rarely missed

Franny Lee didn’t miss many either. Didn’t he score 13 in one season ?

Elano was my favourite. Smashed into the side netting every time. Admittedly there weren’t that many times, but I don’t think he ever missed. Not sure Anelka did either (for us)

Le Tiss is another one for the debate we had with Shearer.

As non-english I remember more that he had that gambling problem with throw-ins and was in the squad for Euro 96? But rarely goes as a top penalty kick taker because he won fuckall.
