Like his good friends Daniel, Joel, John Henry, Stanley & Burnley's US owners ALK etc the odious Jordan sees football clubs and players as goods & chattels to buy and sell simply to make a quick cash return on. Their commodity extraction model can't compete with the long term investment of Sheikh Mansour into us or Jack Walker's into Blackburn or John Hall's into Barcodes or indeed most previous owners of clubs in this country - the prestige of sporting success is the common principal factor motivating them not just financial gain.
