Meeting a random kid off the internet is disturbing to say the least. And again, if it was your kid you wouldn’t be happy about a grown man meeting them. It’s weird whatever the reasons were.

Sorry that facts have hurt some of you.

Except it isn't fact, is it? The kid who he met 'randomly off the internet' also knew him through cricket, as he himself stated in a post before you wrote this. Also, from what's been written, it seems Lewis went to meet him, at a place he publicly stated he was every day, rather than arranged to meet him in a different place.

If a well-known skateboarder goes to a particular skate park nearly every day, and my kid knew that, and asked them on a forum/social media if they could go down to meet them, and the skateboarder replied "Sure, why not?", I wouldn't describe what they were doing as "meeting a random kid off the internet", nor see anything untoward in it. And I certainly wouldn't describe it as such online.

I literally remember them going back and to at the time, they didn’t know each other initially when meeting.

What are you waffling about skateboarding for

Not surprised by name calling *edited out, because I’m stupid I forgot you didn’t want your name here* You are a failed journalist after all.
Correct, but for myself I prefer 'retired' to 'failed' although it's true I was once sacked by the Stockport Advertiser when I was 16.

For the record Mase, Doug was a coach at Brooklands Cricket Club.
Young Lewis was a junior at Brooklands Cricket Club.
Doug was Lewis's coach at Brooklands Cricket Club

Lewis turned up at the Townley because he had read that was where a number of posters met prematch and he wanted to meet up with some of the names on here.
Not only was I there and Doug, so were many other posters from this board.

That info is factual

The way this thread has gone, sums up why so many have done one I suspect. Not blaming just stating my take on it. No need for the stick he took imo. EDS is important news. I wish Doug the best.

They met at the training ground on another occasion, I’m sure just to watch City train. I’ve not actually mentioned anything sinister by the way, that’s come from you lot. Weird how you want to keep this going though and add fuel to the fire.

I suspect it’s more to do with the fact no one engaged in conversation with him, Hazy. Like I said, his last ten posts on here I think there was one reply to him.

This “they were bullied off the site” nonsense is ridiculous. People are adults and they come and go. People decide they want to post elsewhere. People don’t get enough interaction on here. Peoples lives change and they have other demands that take over.

He still posts on BM apparently and according to most people there’s far more bickering on there than here.

Absolutely it’s weird. But having a sit down wee is weird. It’s not sinister though. Would I let my kid do it, no.

Original post was tongue in cheek and would probably have got brushed over if people hadn’t blown it up. But that’s on them.

Can you post what Sam Lee thinks of it please.

What the fuck is wrong or weird with having a sit down wee? You've got kids Mase, surely you go to the toilet for a bit of peace and quiet once in a while? Sit down wees are par for the course in those situations. And in the middle of the night when you don't want to turn the light on and wake yourself up but also don't want to piss all over the floor? Again, a sit down wee is a necessity. Or when you're reading something on your phone whilst having a piss, but fear deep down you might drop your phone in the pisser? Having a piss standing up is getting so rare for me I think I only ever do it in public toilets.
