The starting slow thing seems to be part and parcel of most new players arriving at City.
As Kompanysaid, initially it was as if Pep was speaking a different language. So many newi deas and complexities of City strategies.

Unlike many, I don't expect an initial explosion of goals with Haaland and Alvarez. Great if it happens but I think we will need to be patient until players start to understand where and how our new strikers want the ball to be fed to them. Likewise, it will take time for them to learn what, and when to make runs to compliment the midfielders who are feeeding them.

In the longer term I do expect City to be far stronger than previous seasons, leaving the likes of the chavs and dippers to playcatch up.
I also think that we are now fully gearing up in all departments to have a serious tilt at the CL.....TBH, I think we will win it and the Prem this coming season.
