I call BS.
We are going to replace the irreplaceable Bern, with a player new to the PL and Pep's methods, less than two weeks before PL kick off after selling three experienced squad players. Not going to happen.

That is before we even consider that we are short two players at the back.

No chance. He flopped at Milan.

Bernardo’s replacement will likely be Foden.

Like that to be the case but we still could use a left sided midfielder as competition when Bernardo exits - Gundo is in his last season too.

He looks good JC. I do wonder if McAtee might be moulded into Bern? Or is McAtee more of a David Silva rather than Bernardo Silva? I’ve not seen enough of him.

Agree about 100% about Paqueta. I also really hope McAtee kicks on, his slightly older brother John hasn't unfortunately- last moved to Grimsby on a free - but James is much in demand on the loan market, several La Liga clubs interested allegedly but Forest is favourite on Twitter. Be good to see him playing in the PL.

Dad and granddad are ex-rugby league. John who is at grimsby has offers on the table from PL clubs but wants to stay where he is as noone mithers him when he is on the town. We've told the younger that he will get more game time this season which is why he signed the cintract recently. Hopefully we keep our word. We did at least take him to the US

Didn't Pep say Foden was Dave's replacement?

Not too sure. I know Pep once said Kolarov was one of the best he’s trained and I prefer to focus on that quote of all Pep’s quotes. It means the most.
