Isn't the trial soon?
It's really going to give the anti mcfc media something to get their teeth stuck into.

You are putting a rope around your own neck by saying anything other than 'no comment'.

Only been a juror once, it involved a guy that ran the donkeys on Blackpool beach. He was charged and prosecuted on 3 cases of child rape. After 7 days we unanimously found him not guilty. He was stitched up like a kipper by his accusers, and the police and CPS were too stupid to see through it. I would NOT trust our legal process at all. Best to speak only with a solicitor present

Latest reported date is 25 July, but not sure if that will change given the new charge...
If you are innocent say so, it's your duty to tell the truth - only lawyers claim 'no comment' doesn't signal guilt for obvious reasons - everybody else knows the score.Mase wrote:Indianablue wrote:johnny crossan wrote:If you have not committed a crime why would you not assist the police in dealing with those who have?Dimples wrote:'no comment' is your only man if you are ever questioned by the police. Yep. Anyone that thinks “no comment” means you’re guilty has never been in that situation. The police will do all the can to get a charge, then it’s on the court system if you’re guilty or not. It’s not the police’s job to decide guilt.
“No comment” is the best thing to say and then have your day in court where you’ll be able to say your side.
Like I say, my friend was advised to “no comment” while speaking with the police and he got a court date for trial. Luckily the girl decided to tell the truth before it went to court (she felt guilt? Knew his solicitor would pick holes in her statement?).

Trial status: Tiral Inneffective!!!!
"An ineffective trial means that the trial cannot go ahead on this date but will be heard again at another time".
I guess this is so defence can prepare for the 8th charge?

No mention of Bernardo in his list of witnesses but Grealish is, even though he never played with us at the time.
Thought he was best buddies with Bern
