Silva says he prefers to leave City due to his lifestyle and the culture clash of living in Manchester.
But the Portugal international makes clear he will always have full commitment for City while he is still there.
He told BBC Sport:"My culture [in Portugal] is a bit different from your culture off the pitch. I love Manchester, people are really nice, the way they've treated me in the street, bars, restaurants, it's a bit different from where I'm from, sometimes you want different things..."
"It's nothing to do with how nice the people are here and how good an city is, and how happy I am to be staying. I'm staying for this season and if I stay here two or three seasons, I'm always going to do my best for this club."

Yep. A shame his Mrs can’t see that. Weird how there was never a culture issue before she came on the scene - he even signed a new contract to stay in Manchester an extra 5 years…I’d have more respect for him if he was just honest and said, “my Mrs hates it here. She’s an Instagram model and needs to be in nice looking locations.”
Luckily we have a player that will always give 110%

We'll have to hope his performances continue to be unaffected by the earache he gets at home.

Can’t understand with all the money he has he can’t make the most of the beautiful diverse Mancunian culture ???? so maybe he is looking for an excuse for something else ? his whinge bag of a girlfriend ?
Pep on the other hand absolutely loves the beautiful diverse Mancunian culture and has bought into it owning his own restaurant etc and travels everywhere around the city and to the campus on his own either on his bike or on foot .
johnny crossan wrote:Wish he's just keep his mouth shut tbh. I think he might have worked out Manchester isn't Lisbon before he arrived. There are currently over 20 Portugese players in the PL - two of them committed on long term contracts at City - they all seem to be able to cope with living in Manchester, Wolverhampton, Liverpool, Leicester, Southampton, Leeds. London, Nottingham etc.

Im with you on this. Why he would want to leave is beyond me when in a few years he can travel the world living and doing whatever he wants. Why he would want to play his peak football anywhere else boggles me. It will be his loss when he goes but if he had of done his career here it could have been statue territory.

Most of my mates are fucked for that very reason .

Makes no footballing sense at all. Grow a fucking pair Bernie there are no shortage of brain dead bimbos out there for you. Would hate to see him leave but if he does end up at Farca they had better be paying top dollar
