Foden is by far the best player on the pitch and Sterling next in line - lose the scales friend

You're seeing something different to me. Bellingham the only one showing anything. Scales? You'll need to explain

Luke Shaw comes on to stiffen the defence , mind Walker was at fault for the goal. Grealish will spend more time on the deck

Last 4 touches in 25 mins from Foden resulted in 2 losses of possession, 1 offside and a pass in a promising break underhit

Keown really does have a cock-stand for the City players. No matter what they do, he’ll hammer them.

With a mid season World Cup does that mean this is the only pointless break this season at least?

As an outsider looking in at England playing, all I can say is what a waste of talent. I cannot see anyway that England will win the WC with Southgate in charge. He is not even second rate as a manager.
Nice guy? - yes
Top class international manager? - no.
A political appointment that will cost England on the playing field imo.

As ever, time will tell.

I don't think you will get much disagreement with that statement, dimples. As an Englishman, I think it a bit odd that we have got good international quality players (thought not as good as perhaps we believe) managed by a bloke who wouldn't get a job managing in the National League.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

If England getting soundly beat tonight guaranteed Southgate the sack would anyone go for it?

Pep may be forced to pick his strongest available defence on Sunday.
