Great performance overall but you cannot allow those 2 goals late on in the game .

It’s partly on Pep himself for changing nearly half the team at the same time.

Tremendous...mainly.

I'd like to know why Ederson kicks it so badly to the sidelines at basically every opportunity. Cancelo though...

Weird to be a bit annoyed. At 6 it looked like it might be 8 or more.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

Can I say, Pep saved us there. By sending on the changes, and allowing them to ‘lose respectfully’, we may not see the childish behaviour of their fans where they show dissent against their owners.

It’s always the Glazer’s fault. Got the shits from a takeaway? Glazers fault that.

The two lads will get all the praise for the hattricks but a big shout to akanji who was superb.
He reminds me of vinny, and looks like he's being playing for us for years.

He’s been great for us. Younger than Stones and not as injury prone.

Sounds ridiculous but I'm right with you. Doesn't feel like we've just battered them somehow

I’m the opposite. I feel we battered them and then took the piss out of them. The changes made a huge difference, allowing us to blood some players in a high-end game but allowing them to get a takeaway.

Although I wanted 10, we have to understand that the PL is no longer just a sport, it’s a capitalist entity where clubs make money from the broadcasters and to keep it strong then you need the biggest supported teams to be strong. United lost today but that 2nd half win will keep the subscribers partially happy; being half as good as City is a selling point at the moment.

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. The tactical stuff makes it even more enthralling from a City POV.

Not too bothered about conceding the 3 goals.

The game was done.

It wasn't a penalty.

Key players taken off with a busy schedule coming up.

Fringe / returning players given time.

Would have taken 6-3 before the game.

That's how I am looking at it. A great day all round.

It's the fact we did totally outplay and batter them and being 6-1 up conceding two soft, silly goals that rankles. At the very least we should have seen 6-1 out, and the opportunity was there to really kick them when they were down with a further goal or two

Ultimately though it's three points and another display of sheer beauty at times and underlining the growing gap between the two clubs. So it's obviously a happy house but it could/should have been better. And that's just down to the incredibly high standards we now have

You sound a little disappointed, but will you be smiling tomorrow?

Winning 6-3 in a Derby, I fecking love it.

I wanted 7-1 to be honest. But still two trebles and a big win. Can’t have everything haha.

Difficult to pick players out. Erling and Phil will get the plaudits. Still Akanji and Ake really good. Bernardo excellent. Kevin not quite as good but those assists!

That’s why we have won 4 out of 5 PLs. His desire to win and eradicate sloppy play is all too evident. Though some of it is on him to be fair making 4 changes at once. It isn’t a fucking friendly. And in retrospect I guess he won’t do that again

Magnificent. We are years ahead of the rags.
They became a fucking footnote. Not in my lifetime, eh Fergie?

Now, is Walker becoming a liability with his injury issues?
Last season we ended up without him. Time to start looking for our next rb?
