He would get 6. If he for argument sake has 5 by 65-70 minutes then surely Pep leaves him on so he can try for the PL record. I know its a team game and rotation is crucial for preserving his energy to minimise risks of injury and burnout etc.

But surely Haaland has already had a chat about such events and as such the kudos a double hat trick would bring would be worth it?

Of course, by 60-70 minutes he might only have 1 or 2 goals or even 0 in which case the point is moot. But reputations and suchlike are built on outrageous feats.
