That being said anything less than a convincing win would be a surprise

I'm reading that SEVEN City Academy players could be playing today at the Etihad !

What an incredible Organisation City has become.

Our fan base needs to keep both feet on the ground until the World Cup , some big PL games before then which will have there own challenges now certain parts of the media already have us down for ruining football on and off the pitch .

This all day long. We have no right to win any football match. A win is all that matters, anything after that a bonus. We dont want to become like the rags, its everything i hated/hate about football when growing up.

I quite like southampton and their manager. On their day can cause problems and if lavia wasnt injured could have four of our kids playing for them. Would like to see them do well except today.

Its odd that larios started left back for them last week, we are desperate for a left back and he was never even mentioned yet there he is playing premier league football at 18 left back.

Any win will do me, but i'm hoping for goals, goal difference is always worth a point at the end of the season. Hoping Alvarez gets a run out and a couple of goals

We’ll never know though Notts because they only get 3 minutes here and there. The fact Lavia and Larios are playing Premier League football and we’ve spent £60+ million on their replacements to act as backups for Rodri and Cancelo is a bit worrying.

Don’t forget these guys had been training with us and it was deemed they weren’t good enough for our squad. So we took the business decision to get good money. Yes they are playing in the PL. But at what level? Luke Shaw plays in the PL, doesn’t mean he’s good enough for us.

I would like to see the Academy produce more first teamers and I’ve banged this drum for a long time. It’s one thing the rags were good at when they ruled the roost. But we are the best side in the country and possibly in Europe, certainly in the top few, so to play for us you have to be special both on the field and have the right persona and attitude off it. Look at Sancho for example. Many questioned why we let him go and he did well in Germany. But would we want him now? No we wouldn’t and not least because of his lazy attitude. We were happy for Sane to leave and I suspect it was because of his persona and attitude and again he hasn’t set Bayern alight

Maybe these lads we have let go, we have done so partly for other reasons than football ability on the pitch?

I dont know if hes good enough or not but to be starting in the prem at 18 you need to be some talent. Maybe the buyback clause is our insurance.

Playing a part fine but deffo not starting, get the game won and then make all the changes you want. It's a no brainer, but he would be foolish to have laods of them start.
