11 goals on the first two and quite honestly could have been at least 15. We are on fire at the moment and I expect our form to continue today. Although we have a CL game midweek, we are all but through so shouldn’t need to tinker too much

Expect Rodri to feature today. Put our best side out and if we are 2/3 goals up after an hour or so then rest them

4-0 Haaland

Nearly got the scorecast again!! Just swap first for last scorer

Scoring 4-0 is actually an outstanding outcome in the PL, rather disrespectful to suggest it is in any way an unsatisfactory result.

with the firepower we have, we should be scoring at least 5 every home game

Surely NT has his tongue in cheek?
Hope so as it’s never a bad result to win a PL game let alone one 4-0 where the opposition doesn’t even have a shot on target

Scoring 4 is actually an outstanding result in the PL, rather disrespectful to suggest it is in any way an unsatisfactory result.

I'd go further and say it is complete fucking bollocks.

That was a very professional job, restricting the Saints to no shots on target at all while peppering their goal. But for their netter, who looks a very good prospect indeed though his distribution can improve, it would have been double figures. But 4-0 is, as you say, JC, more than satisfactory.

Bernardo was man of the match for me. He mopped up everything and ran the whole thing. Honourable mentions to all the rest.

Roll on Tuesday!

When has a side ever done that? Seriously, we have 4, 4, 6, 6, 4 in our five home PL games. As good as we’ve ever seen

This is exactly what I was alluding to in the build up thread, we all know we are a very good team, but I do not like this expectation that we are going to batter all teams every week, it is arrogant and unsporting. Like I said we all know we have a exceptional team,a team to be proud of, however let's not get to the stage where a 4-0 win in the PL is disappointing

Agreed. Getting rid of Sterling alone is automatically 5 goals a game more. Disgraceful we scored anything less than that.

Man City 2-0 Southampton

Kevin De Bruyne (95) moves outright fifth in the all-time leading Premier League assist makers, surpassing Dennis Bergkamp (94).

It was his ninth assist of the season.

That's off the beeb

He is now City's all time assist king, moving 1 ahead of Merlin

Didn't get to see the game today, but sounds like it was straightforward enough. 4 nil and top of the league. Can't ask for much more than that.

But what's this Haaland lad only scoring one? Get rid.
