Interestingly, they only sold 25% of the TV rights for domestic league games earlier this year. Perhaps throughout the sale they were banking on a Super League, allowing them to withdraw from La Liga, thus meaning they got money for nothing.

No it would not . It means they would be sued for misrepresentation and probably need to declare Bancruptcy.

The Super League was already on the table before the sale was made. It wouldn't take a genius to go over the ins-and-outs of it within the scope of the sale contract. Either the buyers saw it as a risk, or tied Barca's hands in some way, meaning that talk of a no-holds-barred Super League emanating from the club is just hot air.

For some reason the rest of football seem to bow down to these pot-less clowns, it's time for football to put them out of business.

it's simply the three clubs who still openly support the Super League - Barca, Madrid & Juventus - are on the brink of financial catastrophe and possibly extinction. They are proxy for the Scum & Dippers who are heading down the same black hole and cheered on by 20 other US hedgie owned top flight clubs inc the other 8 PL ones who want guaranteed profits via no relegation, player drafts etc and and easy exit route when they've sucked out all the cash from Europe leaving the whole game in ruined.

The success and the ability to generate huge incomes by the Premier Lge have long been an issue with the bigger continental clubs, many of whom lag a long way behind their English competitors.
Tebag has made much of this, particuarly and wrongly using City as his target. He sees La Liga clubs unable to attract top stars and we witness that in their failed attempts to buy players in the last window, particularly Haaland coming to City.
Barca are in a financial mess as we have seen.
The English clubs have seen themselves fall further behind City, whilst lesser English clubs are now earning enough to defend themselves from the likes of the rags, dippers and Arse buying up the better playerrs and weakening them.

I have stated many times, this has nothing to de with football, this is all about profits and maximising those profits.
The Yank Hedge funds are moving and have moved in and arebecoming the controling power. No love of football, no thought of Football's history or culture.

To all of them, the European Super League isn't just an idea, it's a necessity for their profit margins, as long as their future profits are safeguarded by no relegation.

Be under no illusion, the commercial big boys like the global media, sponsors, partners and major advertisers are fully behind this.
Uefa itself will only survive if they can deliver a CL that can give the money men what they demand. If it fails, it will be merely be left to administer the lower tiers of our game.

Stand by for an NFL style league in the American image. It may take time, but it will happen, hopefully it will be delayed beyond my lifetime.

This is what the CL is supposed to do from 24/25 onward. However, no matter how much I look at it, I can't for the life of me fathom how it will both benefit big clubs and audiences. The promise (for audiences) is that there'll be more 'big' ties in the early stages, but, at the same time, if big clubs aren't facing whipping boys, there's a lower chance of them progressing to the knockout rounds. If they're playing small clubs to guarantee progression, then it doesn't satisfy the audiences.

Inter have Viktoria next - they’ll likely smash them. It’s Bayern we need to beat Barca in their next game. No fucking about, just put them to the sword and it’s game over for Barca. Rotten club.

Hopefully Garcia and Torres are enjoying themselves.

Even if Barca beat Bayern and Inter lose to them, a win against Viktoria will take Inter through on head to head.

Yes, so as long as Inter beat Victoria plum in the next game Farca are out. That will nor help them financially so I'm all up for that. Could be fun if the red shite finish second and meet Farca in the play-off

I read Garcia was at fault for the second goal and Torres is banging luis Enrique's daughter on the frequent occasiins that he is not in the side so he will be ok especially as she is an equestrian. So no, fuck the pair of them and i hope they enjoy the Europa league
Am going to Tast in town tomorrow, will have to ask them about their progress
