If it stays like this, this has been a corker of a weekend for us.

That 3-3 at St James is looking better by the week.

You know I was just looking at the “as it stands table” Barcodes in fourth place and thought exactly the same

would have been ridiculous had they ruled it out
if var was really bent, they’d have disallowed the opening goal of the game

Cracking weekend for us.

Nice run to the break and it's pretty much been the perfect season so far.

Agree, however I have a couple of worries, our away form, and, the defence not being settled that aside we should be grand.

I think there's a bit of over reaction on our away form- we've lost once away since last August. The draw at Newcastle we came from 3-1 down and Pope had a wonder game to stop us winning it. VAR stopped us at Liverpool, the only bad performance has been Villa

About sums it up. Free kick at Newcastle was a blinder. Ed gets beaten by great shots. Trossard scored a hat trick at Scouse 2 , if that in itself isn't a warning to always close him down , then i don't know what is. His very powerful shot and goal yesterday graced the goalpost. Almost Aguero-esque. He is a good player . Ed had no chance again. Like Salah's run on goal ( yep it should not have happened but it did).

Big win at Leicester needed now to go top.
