Deserved.

When the board came up we’d already played nearly 2 mins added time, then we had another 5 more. Notice the timing went off on the screen.

Job done. Disappointing we couldnt make more of their need to come forward after the goal. Lots of changes for the Sevilla game no doubt.

BTs timing must’ve been off then as their clock went off at least 90 seconds prior to the board coming out.

I would not call it comfortable. We had to work hard and Leicester could well have snook a draw.

Just Brentford and Fulham before the World Cup. Should be able to manage 6 points.

We beat the 12 men of Leicester. Horrible game to watch, but the 3 points is the important thing.

Correct, I was getting all paranoid about this, they played more than three minutes after BT removed the time, something I have not seen before

Since their drubbing by Spurs, Leicester have only conceded 1 goal in their last 5, and you can see why with the biggest bus I’ve seen this season. I said to my lad that a set-piece would probably be the only way through it. In the last 20 Brenton could unleash his players and get some extra pace on, which caused us a few problems but, in reality, they deserved fuck all and got exactly that.

As you say, worked hard, got 3 points, enjoy the rest of the weekend and move onto the next game.

Oh, and top of the league … at least for now.

Yeah, most probably the case. BT took the clock from the top corner and, for a couple of seconds, the added time clock appeared in the lower left corner. Somebody must’ve jumped the gun as we didn’t see any timings following that with the board coming out a couple of minutes after it went off.

There’s also the thought that we wanted the whistle, made the 3 minutes feel like an age!!!
