He’s doing the exact same thing as Grealish. Ball backwards to Aké nearly every time.

In Grealish defense, he's right footed. Why the fuck doesn't Phil try to challenge every now and then?

Huge character shown by the lads ther. A hallmark of champions.

Shit ref, shit opposition (how the fuck do you have a man advantage but play like you've lost a player?), shit tempo, for all our possession there was no movement, Bernardo dropping deep to do everything himself and to top it off haaland with a gash penalty, but it went in and that's all that matters.

Jack very poor today. Less said about cancelo the better.

3 points, don't do it again please lads.

Not many teams can go to ten men for an hour and win in the PL it says a lot about team spirit

FFS what a tight finish. Thought Fulham might sneak it but hey ho. Ginger Kev experienced enough to go down and Haaland just about converts but what a relief. Bernado is the spark in our team, what a fucking gutsy player to have. Cancelo? When will he learn. Better to let them score than foul and risk a red card. Grealish? not impressing me. Got out of jail against a team that defended well but left their feet in left right and centre. Got what they deserved. I get the feeling refs are trying to make a game of it when we play

So gratifying to come away with the points after such a shit-show from the officials. Cancelo was stupid to give him the choice.

Great point about not fouling and letting them score so early, best keep the 11 on the pitch, after all it wasn’t a given he would score against Eddy, ohh wait

To be fair, he’d had a couple of tries and was all over the show, don’t think he would’ve hit the target anyway.

The referee is either incompetent or a cheat, there is no other evaluation after that

what is up with foden, wasnt in the game, never went for a ball, and then when a ball went past him, he never run for it, he might not get it but show a bit of guts to try and pep had a go at him, but today we was really slow in some of our play, some players just jogging about and not running

anyway 3 pts

Yep. With 10 men we still had over 70% possession and I think they only had a couple of shots on target.

I thought he was under orders to not lose the ball and just get it to Haaland as he was either coming back or playing it inside.

Totally agree. They were 7th before the game and to beat them with 10 men lays a huge marker.

Great win.

Down to 10 players after half an hour, I'd have taken any win.

The players kept going and battled for everything.

The key thing is to win every game before the World Cup as we have a good run now. Today we continued to do that.

Do you think it is possible some players have the World Cup on their minds?
