Come on City
Fancy a close game today 2-1 Silva to score first

Got a Bon Jovi - halfway there!

3 points and top of the league. It was a roundabout way to get there but we did. That in itself is a good thing as we showed plenty of fight and courage. Cancelo needs to just be more aware of what’s going on around him.

It’s over to you now Arteta and Arsenal. Let’s see what the pressure does to you

He’s doing the exact same thing as Grealish. Ball backwards to Aké nearly every time.

In Grealish defense, he's right footed. Why the fuck doesn't Phil try to challenge every now and then?

I think Grealish is playing as instructed. Very rarely gives the ball away so enables us to maintain possession high up the pitch. Pep will love that. Foden now starting to do the same. He was pretty much sprinting towards our goal with the ball at his feet at one point.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

anyway 3 pts

Do you think it is possible some players have the World Cup on their minds?

They probably do. But I hope Pep lays down the law for the two games beforehand. If they can’t be arsed before the World Cup then they don’t play after it

I think it is churlish to complain after winning in the PL against a team in 7th place, with ten men for over an hour, well done lads proud of that

I'm getting a little bit tired of our "smaller" players getting bullied, pushed and shoved each week. Milner was bad at scouse with Foden, clearly decking him with a shove in the back to the floor.... nothing happens . Last week again players pushing for no reason , Today Alvarez gets shoved off the ball, nothing to do with the play. Bernie was right to bitch at the ref for all theshirt pulling and shoving. Remember VAR pulled Haaland back , for our goal at Scouse , cos Fabinho is a faker.

Anyway , i have looked for it on other PL games since scouse and it rarely happens . Players think they can simply push and shove as they like. It is a foul and the Refs need to get on it.

Further why did the ref stop the game when the Fulham player pretended to have an ankle problem It wasn't his head. Stops the game , the player comes back on and is running around as if he never had an injury , Again, Faking it , just to waste time.

I shouldn't worry, for the English players , they will keep the Aircrafts engines running. I can't see them getting out of the group stages.

Fulham playing like a bunch of shit houses. Expected I suppose, even though it's pathetic especially when you have a man advantage.

What got me about the ref today is previously I'd have been calling him bent for a performance like that. Doing a job for the powers that be. Yet now I've had a few minutes to think about it, I'm completely of the mind that the guy is just utterly inept. I don't have a feeling of bias, just a big sense that he didn't know what the fuck he was doing. A long time since I've seen a refereeing performance as bad as this.

10 v 12 for over an hour and we got the 3. This is the sort of display that builds character and belief and wins TITLES . I'm reminded of a few years back away v Hull when we were down to 10 for most of the game , King Dave went up front & got us a couple and we got the win.
Harry , Berni, Gundo , Rodders , Ake , all IMMENSE today . We need a right back - Johnny was decent enough today , but he's not the answer.
Jack . . . .yeah, well . . .(?) . . .I dunno ... Jools - super goal, loved the power he got into it , and plenty of other really positive moments , definite talent and promise for the future.
REF/VAR absolute shite ; Perreira could/should have been off

Cancelo . . . really , WHY did we trade Danilo for him ? Danilo could DEFEND , and play a bit too .

With the Carling Cup in midweek against Chelsea, I’d be tempted to play a lesser team and see how they do. Following the WC, it’s going to be tight for games and if those players can get us through, they get the gig going forward.

Massive 3 points 10 v 12.

The lesson for me is after scoring one we sat off happy to toy with them. When we went for the kill against United then the late comeback made no difference. I’d love to see us go for 2-3 before we even consider easing off.

Great goal from Alvarez too.
Tracking back is overrated.

I was minding my two lads and they were fucking bouncing around the place while my nerves were shrivelled.

That game wound me up no end.

The ref has to be dropped for that. Aside from all the obvious bias, he stopped play because a Fulham player had a sore leg.

Total incompetence at best.

And while I'm at it, you do know bernardo was losing his shit because he felt there was a clear peno not given - it's still never been shown again, no replay, no VAR.

Might be nothing but why not show it?

Understand this post, but is it incompetence or cheating, I don’t know, my leaning is towards cheating.

Because it’s fucking bent. You could clearly see that Bernie was fuming and knew the referee was applying double standards. Just glad that we didn’t let the ref get to us and when Bernie went to go again, Akanji pushed him away.
