Kim Jong of North Korea it is then.

Be interested to hear Klopp’s answer to the surely inevitable question of whether he would continue to be the manager if an Arab based consortium took over given his previous vitriolic mumbling on the matter. He will be asked this won’t he…….

No need, klopp will top himself when Bellingham signs for us.

Something tells me this was the final nail in their coffin, I reckon toothy asked for for him and FSG baulked at the price and decided best to sell as they can't compete with the big boys financially.

    my mate will implode on reading this, he's spent the last 6 months or so telling me the deal has secretly been done and Bellingham will be a dirty scouse cunt come next summer .

I am going for a pint later where the bar man and Estonian bar made are "scousers' i cannot wait, they were virtually in tears when i told them Monday Fenway are selling up

The failure of the ESL will have been the catalyst. And the fact the dippers need a huge outlay to now compete for just the top 4. And with a World Cup round the corner football will be very much in the spotlight for potential investors

The problem for the dippers is similar to that of the ragsand I foresee it being a big problem for other clubs and eventually the Premier league itself.

The G14 group was about money and only money. maximising profits at the expense of everyone else. Football lost and yjr get quick rich mechants moved in. Investorslike the Glazers (God bless em) saw the chance of getting holdof a huge cash cow (for nothing) and draining it of cash to propup their failing businesses.
Hicks and Gillette got their fingers burnt and the Fenway group jumped at the chance with the promise of a USA stylee Superleague and no relegation..... easy peasy money money money.
The problem with that is that they have to have success and they have to have it now. CVity stood (stand) in their way and with Newcastle joining the challengers, it looks like a big risk for a lot of money.
Get rid, take the profit and get out of the race.

Short termism will kill the clubs and seriously damage the Prem

They’ll blame us when the reality is that they know a sale will make them massive, and I mean, massive profits. Liverpool and their supporters are using us to play the victim card, where they need to look a little closer to home.

Interesting the statements that any sale will have to be upto moral scrutiny. Will be very enlightening to see what that looks like.

From where I'm standing, the two clubs with the most stable and sustainable ownership in the Premier League right now are City and Newcastle. These are the only two clubs where where decisions are being made with an ultra long term sustainability perspective as both owners are planning to be in the hotseat for many many years as financial return is secondary to their publicity objectives.

For all other owners, the game seems to be invest through debt, grow rapidly, sell for a significant gain. With that as the objective, the interests of the fans and sustainability will never win out as the owner is always looking for their exit which results in short-termism.

The choice seems to be ownership for profit, or ownership for tourism adverts. Only the racist would disagree that the reality is that the middle-eastern owners have brought stability to clubs that has not been achieved under American, Chinese or any other ownership.

And to think we had to listen to the garbage being spouted by all the City haters in the media and public forums
that ‘these’ owners ‘ are only here for the short term and when they fuck off we will be in trouble .

I’d suggest they look elsewhere .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
