Why do the commentators hear the conversations between ref and VAR yet no one else does

I dont like how the commentators are controlling the narrative when it comes to VAR. Dodgy as fewk (whether it's Sky or BT).

Handball was on the line, definite penalty. De Bruyne fouled by defenders arm and leg, definite penalty. VAR seemingly can't find a conclusive angle to show whether the handball was in or out the box so give it as outside. What about projecting the fucking penalty box up till it meets the same height as the ball, basic technical drawing that can be done in seconds on a computer.

We knew we weren’t getting anything when Stones played a ball that went out for a corner and the ref gave a goal kick early on.

He’s been terrible today. Played everyone on for their goal. He’s not a RB any day of the week.

This is one of the things I detest most. If it's correct for the commentators to hear then the crowd and TV audience should also be able to hear. If nothing else it shows that there nothing corrupt going on, but if we don't hear this then maybe there is something going on.
