Actually, watching a good deluxe emulsion going off can be quite cathartic compared to this

If some of you heard it would I'd say I can see why one would be understandably annoyed and think we're a bunch of "dumb Yanks" when it comes to the sport.

The overhyping and over-explaining of everything is really too much.

I 100% get that it's for a more general audience who don't follow the sport in Europe as much (MLS and USA Women's team, perhaps), but it's also why Ted Lasso is a poignant joke and contributing to the reaction to Jesse Marsch's "reactions" from Leeds fans.

TBF, I will say that I do think the other part of Ted Lasso that works and arguably Marsch, is that in some doses "enthusiasm" from those originating from "The States" can also be positive and effective.

The thing with even the best considered TV/radio "sports announcers" as we call them here is they also don't scream
and react to EVERYTHING which almost makes nothing exciting and ends up being simply irritating and a sign of trying too hard.

At least you don't have to listen to Hinchcliffe etc etc every week

They say a team reflects the manager, who could argue with that after a lacklustre performance, lacking in any sort of creative adventure

ThinK England will do better next half.

Perhaps Foden or Grealish to get a chance.

I think they would cause the US more problems if they do they're thing.

England too timid and slow outside of a few attacking chances.

I'll optimistically suggest that bringing on those two with a tiring USA is a master stroke

Didn't Southgate fuck up by leaving out Foden in the u21s?

I hear you, but they were magnificent last match.

Iran's last second drastic tactical change may have been more at play than some realise or wanted to.

US is an energy side.

I'd actually have Pickford, Stones and perhaps McGuire play some longer balls over the top to Saka or other players who can get in behind the weaker CB's who either aren't so great in defending and/or lack pace.

That's how Wales scored.

Kane actually might not be the right fit unless he drops deep to create chances from a long ball.

Ream good on the ball, but he's ancient. Our FB's are also not world beaters by any stretch.

Another Baghead masterclass - wrong team, wrong tactics completely unchanged as new Gods Saka & Bellingham show their feet of clay. Only he knows why the best player in Engand is sitting on the bench while a Chav third rater stumbles around doing nothing.

If things don't change Foden and or Grealish (in his old no holds barred run at players style) would maybe be a good idea.
