He’s set this game up to confuse the players. Win comfortably in the first game and then put them in a position where they don’t want to lose.
Negative tactics will always have a negative affect, especially when the players are so positive.

We've been piss poor tonight. Foden definitely not a Southgate favourite. USA the better team, and fitter.

Perhaps if the manager forgot about virtue signalling politics, fuck off the kneeling and concentrate on winning football games. We might be better placed

They should have kneeled to start the second half too, very disappointing they didn’t

100% we were shite and the big question for everyone including the Utd media pundits is 'why is Foden not being picked'?

Er, If Wales somehow go 1-0 up England could be flying home - in such situations he will play Phil Foden in the last 10 minutes and hope for something. Blame will clearly lie by Foden.for not scoring against the US of A and Wales.

Remember what I said, home before the postcards, well if you include the strikes, I could still be right

That's two chavs now can't control the ball.
I knew some would not be able to resist

Southgate getting stick from all angles for not bringing on Foden. Carragher and Neville calling Foden the most talented England player.
Hopefully Southgate doubles down and Phil can get a nice rest. This WC is actually helping us a bit. Walker and Phillips both not playing but training to get their fitness up.

Now that would be brill.
Jerk manager plays two negative thinking midfielders , rice and mount alongside bellingham - deserves a draw for that alone . The midfield needs to be jack , phil and the Bell .

Southgate has basically said Jack is better at keeping the ball (England were drawing and not losing) and Rashford is fast

Maybe bring Vassell back? He was pretty quick. Aaron Lennon has just retired, shame because he was pretty quick.
