A great character and top player who contributed massively to our success in the late 60’s. Lot’s of great memories of him playing for us but the one that stands out for me is the ‘ballet on ice’. Happy birthday Mike!

Just seen that - I look forward to seeing it on City+. Was in the Platt Lane stand right behind the nets where all the goals were scored when watching it as a young kid. Although I knew I’d seen something special that day, never thought it’d still be talked about 55 years later.
