Truth is the players on the pitch are much much better than this display.
Pep needs to give them a good rollicking.

why are you lot singling palmer out when foden's been even worse?? palmer could have had an assist if gundo could strike a ball anymore.

Tell you the problem with Palmer. He's got everything talent wise in his locker to make it. What he hasn't got is the fight, the will to be the best. He hasn't got the dog in him. He needs to wake himself and find that before he loses his chance and ends up playing for somebody like Tranmere.

I'm struggling to find anyone performing at an acceptable standard at the moment.

Not sure about that. I think it's a confidence issue. He was very promising before his long term injury, but he hasn't been able to get back to that form since he's back.

He need to find that confidence / form again quickly, though, or his city days are numbered.

We simply have to change at least two players at half time. Unless Pep really isn’t arsed about this and sees a further two games as a distraction when we are trying to close the gap on Arsenal. But equally, if he fills the bench with the likely starters on Saturday he should be prepared to use them when we need to

And by fucking Christ, do we need them

It's not a case of any player being shit, they all have been.
And in fairness, Southampton have played out of their skin.
