I fear the drawing balls need rewarming.

And despite bringing on the so called big guns, Southampton still look the most likely to score.

It just isn’t our night. Let’s just hope we don’t pick up injuries or bookings which could hurt us later on in the season

I’ll keep an eye on the Saints v Everton game this weekend, see how much Southampton put into this.

On the other side, we should be fine as we’ve treated it like a warm-up game.

Just realised Foden is still on as he gave it away in our box.

I can’t recall him having a more ineffectual game

Seen this so many times with City. If we get anything out of this, our strongest team will have spent 45 m8nutes grafting like fuck. Bfore we face Utd on a roll this Saturday dinnertime. Not my idea of picking a side but i get Pep might know more than me, but why play players out of position who themselves are coming back from a layoff. Why leave out Haaland? Play him with Alvarez for 90 mins. They have energy to burn

Something very wrong at the moment with him. He’s had one good game all season - luckily we’re playing them again this weekend.

Closer to 3-0 than 2-1.

Anyone agree that since visibly taking our foot off the gas at 6-1 v The Rags, we've not looked anywhere near what we know we are? Just a thought.
