Not looking a good game and very cagey. For me, it’s mainly down to the Rags set-up and they’ve got it spot-on as a defensive set-up that is prepared to hold their positions and use their pace to break on the counter.

We, on the other hand, need to start moving them around, getting into the spaces that can be left. We are playing into their hands, that needs to change.

Strange game.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

No idea a what’s happened to Foden - ever since he got his big pay rise he’s been shit , more often than not .

I’d hook him off second half .

But he’s not the only problem , we had one shot at goal — a fucking disgrace .

Some bizarre refereeing in a poor game. Lino flagging tight offsides against us, Malacia allowed to push over Mahrez at will. And 1 min injury time with both Malacia and Rashford down and needing treatment. We're too soft btw - why the hell did we put the ball out when Rashford went down. It clearly wasn't a head injury - play the fuck on.

Generally poor but not surprising, typical of our form of late.
Rodri, bernardo, akanji and ake only ones doing anything.

Idiot Commentator, think he is an ex Irish pro , says it is a Ten Bob Masterclass ! Of what ? getting all eleven behind the ball for 45 minutes at home ? ffs.

Alvarez on for Phil . Push Berni wide and gundo on for Mahrez.

We’ve had a majority of possession but failed to do much with it. They havent been great but we’ve struggled to deal with the obvious ball over the top to Rashford. Better than against Southampton but that isn’t saying much. Must improve in the second half.

Park the bus, park the bus, man united.

It is hard to break through a 12-man defence but we will.

Cancelo has grown into it. He's a pure confidence player. If he gets through this game unscathed, he's going to be very important for the next month.

Across all competitions, #ManCity have now gone 187 minutes since registering their last shot on target from open play - Phil Foden vs Chelsea in the FA Cup.

Clear cut chances created, Zero from 66% possession!
MU could have scored three from 34% possession.

Earn your corn Pep and get this sorted.

From the rags point of view they have the tactics spot on, pack midfield wait for us to lose possession then hoof it long for a runner, surely pep can see that. We need a more direct approach earlier through ball instead of just keeping possession for possessions sake

The only saving grace is we aren't losing.

Bt this performance is not a one off and it doesn't bode well for the remainder of the season

Agree, it feels like a Pelligrini season to me

a season when we win the league then ?

Wait for us to give them the ball you mean. That's how I see it too
