KDB vs Dave Silva - who was better?

Dave for me. Best player I've ever seen. Can't remember him ever having a poor game.

Although the midfield 3 of Silva, KDB & Fern a few years back is probably the best we've had in terms of balance and complementing each other.

For me it’s too hard to pick the individual. But if it’s who gets in the 11 and can only be one, I’d have to go with Silva, despite KDB’s superior stats.

Silva just used to look for the ball and space, he could win back possession too like KBD. With Silva in the team we were lifted more than when KBD is.

We’re so spoilt, it comes down to tiny margins and pretty much emotional feelings.

Silva was more consistent, and I think it was Pep who said “when he has the ball it’s safe”. He was an absolute joy to watch. Kev on the other hand is inconsistent, when he’s off it, like against Everton, he is a liability. When he’s on it he’s the best player in the world bar none. I can’t split them.

To think 20 years ago english clubs wouldnt have even signed him as he would have been deemed too small!
