It sends out again a wrong message: fuck us, we will bend over again.

But what really got to me was that I read that Walker, Grealish and Akanji went after Atwell on the tunnel. But what were the rest doing? Kevin, Gundo? Our first two captains? Ederson, or he is only with Mane like that?
Go all of you ffs and demand a response. What will they do to you? Suspend the whole squad?

Fannies

I disagree. Pep's message to the squad is, take it on the chin, get on with it, life is not fair, don't feel sorry for yourself, focus on the next game and hit them where it hurts by winning the next game and the PL.
Privately I bet he says to the players, that the club will do the fighting, off camera, with the powers that be.

Yeah, but take it to the chin until the next time it happens again.
I am tired of that mate

14 years without a league penalty against them is a travesty.

Especially when you consider that game when Young assaulted Aguero in the box.

What govering body(bodies)should I send a formal complaint to regarding Attwells incompetence? It'll fall on deaf ears but something needs to be done. Sick of the corruption. Banners needs to be flown at the next game!

Wasting your time, will only fall on deaf ears. Win the league from this point and that will scar them. If ever the players needed motivation, yesterday's events should be it.

Akanji was caught out many times with him being out of position , two or 3 times we had 2 defenders against 3 with Akanji trying to get back from no man’s land - he shouldn’t be a starter in the back 4 IMO .

We are not winning anything with an unsettled back 4 , 100% we are not .

I did mention it before, he was down the pecking order at Dortmund ffs. Good squad player but should never be leading back line. Need to play Dias back to form when he returns from injury.

Mind blowing.
I think the club should do what Wolves did and ask for a public explanation.

Absolutely.

And if that explanation is how the game is going to be going forward, it will change tactics completely and essentially ruin the game.

Any response other than "we fucked up" should be heavily scrutinised

This is from the same article:
After the match the Premier League explained to TV broadcasters as to why the goal stood.

"The flag went up, ref and linesman had a conversation, deemed no touch on the ball from Rashford and no impact on the defender being able to play the ball. VAR could not find evidence of clear and obvious error so supports the goal."

The issue i have with it is that Ederson is faced with Rashford and Fernandes both approaching the ball from different angles. Rashford for a left foot strike and Fernandes for a right foot strike. There is no flag to indicate that Rashford is offside so as far as Ederson is concerned, he's in play. He clearly sets himself for the Rashford strike (makes sense with him being the striker) so while he hasn't touched the ball or blocked anyone, (which is all you can get out of fuckwit Rags) by continuing his run he has influenced the play.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Dont forget he shaped to shoot with his left foot which Ederson would have positioned himself accordingly for only to see Fernandes shoot from the opposite angle

We should just have haaland goal hanging for the rest of the season and ensure he dummies the defenders for Alvarez to score and then visa versa .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Cheating apart ten bob out thought pep, pack midfield wait for city to commit then long ball over the top, how easy is that, how many teams have successfully beaten us with the same tactic, we need to wise up and be more direct

We are susceptible to the counter attack. But there's no great thinking about that tatic. As basic a style of play as it gets, they have been doing it for years.
Sometimes it works as we've seen before.
On Thursday we need more in midfield and silva should not play so deep, negating our attack.

I am more concerned with how with 10 mins left of an away derby, the rags went 4 v 2 just after they equalised. What happens us when we concede? We panic and lose our shit, we just need to compose ourselves keep it tight and go again. A draw would have been acceptable a loss not, we were very naive for an established team who are rated the best in the world.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The result and stats say otherwise City had one shot on target, the goal, rags had six on target and looked dangerous on the break throughout wise the fuck up, face reality

it is not naive at all.

Akanji , who's mother is Swiss and parents live not far from where i live , said it clearly . What he said , would be considered by the PL as to be bringing the game into disrepute . City are not naive , you cannot legislate for this kind of BS.

It is cheating . I've just watched Poulson give the Arse everything , shocking display.

If anyone cares to watch Match of the Day, Ian Wright was 100% spot on with what he says about our misuse of Haaland.

What would have happened had Akanji bulldozed Rashford to get to the ball?
