Foul then offside when the ref see the flag. Maybe play on if Bruno gets to the ball first but unlikely with Walker on his tail. Either way unlikely to result in a goal.

No, no no and no.

If Akanji had fouled Rashford, the referee would have given him a Red card, him being last man and all and Rashford on his way to goal. the linesman flagging for Offside would be ignored because Rashford was fouled.

Cheers, mate, first time I’ve seen that.

Fucking mental gymnastics to go all around the field to basically say ‘As a senior referee, I would have dismissed the goal and called offside but technically, somewhere within a certain rule, that nobody, but nobody has ever used before, he had the right.’.

They’re fucked if they let this go because it will change the way it is played and may as well do away with what we all know about the game.

Fucking cheating cunts, he was ordered to give that goal and they don’t give a fuck what you think as they’ll have enough pundit wankers and media shills who will play by the pipers rules just to earn their corn. No integrity in this cohort, they are happy to lie to everybody who can see it for what it is, pure and unadulterated manipulation to keep their product commercially high in value.

WWE has nothing on this lot.

Has our ref had a promotion?

One was the result they wanted, the other was not.

He definitely had his orders and Dermot was told to get out there and try and justify it. Luckily the presenter had other ideas and tied him in knots.

Aye. They’ve all tried but there’s so much pushback that they know it isn’t washing and this has backed them right into a corner.

You just knew that we’d see a change in officiating when Webb took over but I never thought it could be this obvious. First rule in cheating, don’t let them know you’re cheating.

Have we even had an apology yet? A proper one? Everton got one straight away for the fake penalty shout against us.

Has Bruno, the odious twat, been banned for getting in the face of the ref and lineswoman?

I might have missed it, but did Wolves get a response?

Not directly but apparently Mike Dean will be suspended for 1 match.

Why do you think we are due an apology?
It was a 'subjective' offside and therefore VAR could not intervene.
As it was subjective (an opinion), nobody has made a mistake.

There is nothing to apologize for.

There was nothing to apologise for against Everton with Rodri, but they still did.

I was trying to highlight the absurdity of subjective offside. A term I had never heard of before this weekend, despite following football for +50 years

A term you’d never heard of, in my long time I’ve never seen what I seen on Saturday so their wasn’t ever a need for that term.

It was a pathetic decision, me that was made for brand value rather than football integrity.

Short answer, they’re cheating cunts.
