Richarlison jumped with both arms outstretched, exactly what the handball law describes as making yourself bigger and should be penalised.

He didn't really make himself bigger though did he, he's jumping backwards off balance, stretching to get something on it. His arms were natural given the movement. I wouldn't complain if it gained us a penalty mind!

That's why handball IS a subjective call, I think he does make himself bigger and you don't. Who's right is irrelevant as none of us make the call.

He frustrates the hell out of me. He had Royal backing off him into the box and chose to pass it back. We had a 3 on 3 late on and he was more interested in finding the floor. Mahrez was brilliant, Grealish did what Grealish does.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Satisfying the growing fanbase. No wonder we are the biggest earners.

Well done lads in the end

At half time I honestly could not see that coming but that is why we have had so much success recently

All self inflicted though mate. We should hit teams from the off. We used to

And it shows we are far better when we up the tempo as well. Teams can’t live with it when we are buzzing and fizzing passes forward

I think it wasn’t given due to where it hit him on the arm, seemed to be on the sleeve.

Isn't amazing what a good old fashioned rollicking can do at half time.

Above the elbow certainly and close to the shoulder. And the proximity from when the ball was hit as well. On balance I’d be disappointed if that was given against us

I actually imagine there wasn’t an out and out rollicking. Doesn’t seem to be Peps way. Probably more a reasoned debate about how we are better than opponents and run at them a bit more

Whatever was said though, pep and his team earned their money tonight

@NottsBlue. Ref was still a cunt and I think Pep’s reaction at the end said it all. He knows how we are officiated differently and he usually celebrates like that when he knows he’s done it despite the referee.

At the time I thought it was in part due to his marketable qualities

Obviously he is a quality player but lots of factors go into signings and being Englands poster boy at the time wouldn’t have harmed

Grealish just mentioned that he was encouraging at half-time, probably mentioned the booing as I’m not sure we’ve heard that before against the team.

Was the booing at half time at the ref or the team?
