Thought we’ve played well against a drilled defensive team who have parked the No 53 in front of goal. We had to switch play a few times and it paid off with the little crosses into the box.

The ref though, WTF was he doing. Completely lost it and had to cover his arse on the penalty as he’d let the Traore foul go. Not sure of what to expect in the second half but hopefully nothing like he did in the first.

None? Are you sure?

Yes. I have got the laws of the game open in another window.

Think OD is alluding to something other than the simple laws of the game. Corruption is my guess

I know, mate.

Did VAR get involved in the penalty decision? As stonewall as you’ll ever see. Would have made for an easier half.

Watching Ljungberg interviewing Saka, and Saka says that getting experienced PL winners like Jesus and Zinch in as made all the difference and that both are very strong leaders pushing the rest on. By us they were bit part players and I didn't feel they were leaders in any sense. Guess it shows how spoiled we've become with great characters and players. And maybe that we made a mistake letting them go to a competitor.

They did. Unless it wasn’t given or a foul on Traore earlier in the build up, which I don’t think was the case.

Quite simply someone has to be on the take to get that wrong

VAR must’ve told him that he got the foul on Traore wrong so they must’ve ignored the next phase of play. Probably also told him that he’s a useless twat and needs to sort his ducking head out as he’s been equally crap for both teams.

Aka on for Lewis. Injury? Better to have Tintin in the forward spaces Lewis was getting into. Presumably Ake will play LB Stones RB Indenting?

More going back to conventional back 4, I think.
