this is true , i think pep wanted to keep us out of danger and dubious decisions in the first half , which is why we seemed so cagey and spent a lot of time using up the minutes passing around at the back .

Until the shocking decision in the second half it seemed to work

the commentators were crapping on about Fred keeping Tin tin quiet . Fred strangely enough was nowhere to be seen when he got the assist.

I think we will see Gundo start on thursday , he seems to make a difference, hopefully at the expense of Cancelo who really is struggling at the moment.

Redknapp saying at half time he can’t remember any derby being so one sided before.

Has he forgotten we were 4-0 up at home to the rags earlier in the season.

It was indeed a one sided first half - all City , just not the attacking team we all know and love to watch.

Re Media and City are a better team without Haaland.

Apply the same logic and there should be articles re are Liverpool a better team without £85M Nunez?
All I read about Nunez is how he will come good and the issue is an aging midfield. This despite missing a hatful of chances every game.

Did anyone read even a line about Newcastle being title contenders?

Just read how Penandes is saying that now they are a team, a familly etc, but they are fourh, behind us and Newcastle who is unbeaten for a while now and looking solid.

No. But I can't see Newcastle being title contenders. Not this season anyway.
I thought they were lucky enough to get the win yesterday.
Going forward they are going find life harder, particularly if a threat to rags and dippers.

Random selection of headliners from YouTube:

'Ten Bob is over-performing with this team - Gary on Ten Bob's incredible run of form as MU manager' .......
'United conquer Manchester/Ten Bob's brilliance/City floundering'
'Ten Bob smashed Pep Guardiola'
'Rashford go crazy incredible comeback'
'Liverpool need to be like Man Utd'
'The PL title race ramps up'

Did not delve any deeper but no headlines about 'controversial equalizer' or how City setup because they had to factor in favorable calls for UTD, etc...
Remember that Arsenal were shafted at OT (I think they went back three phases of play to ruleout a goal?), no mention of that either.

There you have it, subscriptions in China, India and the Far East are probably surging today...........

Why?

They’ll have a huge injection of cash and owners who will spend. Ideally we want the existing regime to remain in place as long as possible

Hearing Klopp try and explain it will be a mere sideshow. The real entertainment will be watching the fans try to dig themselves out of the "dirty oil money" hole and the media try to cover up everything they said about Qatar and its human rights record during the world cup.

And watch the VAR decisions go against them.
And they can kiss their ass goodbye to any more CL wins. Unless the balance of power has shifted? That would be 3 oil clubs in the PL but they all hate each other.

He would be sacked after the take over rendering himself inconsequential.

The bigger picture is to see them slide out of the equation

Indeed, that will keep me entertained for years.
All we need then is for the Saudis to buy the rags.

Given their messiah complex, expect to hear how Liverpool Football Club will redeem and transform the nation-state of Qatar, something no other club would be capable of.

What a fucking cretin Danny Murphy is, my word.

Was watching that prank on Lineker yesterday and at some point he was trying to light up the mood and said: Please stop it Danny.

Murphy instantly replied seriously, almost offended: Is not me.

And you expect to hear constructive analysis from a guy that has the IQ of a lamp.

BBC with a bit about Floop’s 1000th game.

He has also won more games against Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola (11) than he has against any other coach bar Eddie Howe and Dieter Hecking (also 11).

So he’s not won more games against Pep than he has against any other manager then  What fuckin nonsense is that?!

That is a classic example of a non-stat, used exclusively to throw a negative sentence in about the blues - so usual Beeb biased shite and fully expected.

Next from the Beeb.
Jurgen Klopp also reached 98 points with him Liverpool team in 18/19, more point than Manchester City in their title winning season in 21/22.
