Ederson and Akanji not on same wave length sometimes.

That’s twice now. Akanji needs to take control of those situations rather than leaving it for Ederson.

In the hat for the quarters. Job done

A few positives as well, Foden had a decent outing, Phillips got some minutes. And a clean sheet

Happy bunny

Really enjoyed that and was good to see BC challenge us when they had the chance.

I thought Foden was trying to prove a point tonight, played like a man possessed.

It’s wishful thinking but we all know that the owners of the league/cups want to see the Rags go far. All about selling the brand and won’t be watching as even if they are shit, the pundits will be telling you how good they are.

100% penalty for handball not given McCoist sweeps it under the carpet as fast a possible. Sublime finish from KDB and he's stretching his legs again. Enjoyable enough game.

I’d give it him just to wind up the inbred Bristol City fans.

Brizzle is a strange place but the support for their club is very good.

Oh, and they had to get the Rags in at every opportunity, don’t they.

Off.

enjoyed that far more than a pl game. credit to bristol city for playing football against us and causing quite a few problems. hope pl teams take note that you don’t need to play 11 men behind the ball and hit us on the break to cause us problems

The way we are building up our play I’d say we’re now starting to get over the World Cup break.

Agree in the main but the PL won’t take heed, they’re more than happy to get the odd chance while taking any points or keeping the GD down.

Phil just interviewed said he struggled after the World Cup straight away Craig Burley says I don’t understand why he said that Marcus Rashford hasn’t

Lol, and what pressure was Rashford under while warming the bench. The WC was a catalyst for him as the rest of the league is just getting going again.

More importantly, why is Burley being a cunt and having to get Rashford into his views?

Totally ignoring that Rashford was MIA for the previous 18 months.

V happy to see Phil firing, Ake again immense but Kalvin is certainly taking his time to blend in, not offering himself enough. Hoping for a home tie tomorrow night now.
