Haaland got stuck in a fair few times today, he was roughing them up and his stint near the corner flag the last few minutes was great. They were getting well pissed off.
Phil was awesome 1st half ,Jack was MOTM for me. Was absolutely everywhere today, dribbling, tracking back, tackling. He was superb. Love his link up with Ake.

I hope he sees Akanji as a 4th choice CB because he terrifies me. Pretty solid until it comes on top and he then looks fucking dreadful. The sooner we get Stones and Dias paired up, the better. Laporte is automatic as a 3rd choice. I'd thank Akanji for his service and let him go come the end of the season.

As for football more widely, I just do not think football is hiding it anymore. Bent as a nine bob note. It's every weekend now, absolutely corrupt. The referee for us today did everything in his power to stop us. 3 of the most obvious cards not given, one of which was a fucking rugby tackle.

I'm close to calling it a day. Too expensive when I believe this deeply that it is stitched up. It is. It's every weekend, every midweek, just blatant oddness.

Watched the extended highlights, Phils goal was absolute magic, what a player, if the kid can keep focused he can be anything he wants to be. Somebody posted yesterday that it is like having a new player back since he returned to form and it is. The other thing, Pep was spot on hooking KDB for Bernardo, not withstanding the goal, but they were really getting back into the game and the sub stopped it. Full marks Pep, hope it didn’t hurt to much using a unforced sub.

Agree about Dias bit of steel there good with the important tackles too, hopefully Stones or Laporte will be fit enough to start a game shortly alongside Dias.
