Yep

90% of blues cheered Liverpool on in Europe in the late 90s/ early 2000s

The Dippers are vile. That said, get a grip if you are a Blue and do not hold The Rags in complete, lifelong contempt. They are our enemy. Do not forget this. FFS, it is the fucking law. The Dippers come and go, relevancy-wise, The Rags are a permanent fixture to be battled. I'll not be argued with on this piquent point, it is fact and law. Lol.

Was just watching MOTD2 and Micah talking about the game and lamenting about how poor Utd were in one of their biggest games of the season and the presenter interrupted and said “ no, THE biggest”” I turned off 2 seconds later. What planet are these guys on ?

I love the way the media are presenting how wonderful Liverpool were. They were only one up at half time then United lost a quick goal and stopped playing. 8 shots on target for 7 goals shows how bad the United defense was, no pressure on the player taking the shot and time to pick his position. For at least 2 of the goals the last ball played was by a United player.

MU:
1. Ten Hag threw his players under a bus in post match interview. Accepted no personal responsibility, put it all on the players. Usually a bad move for a manager (even when the manager is correct).
2. Fernandez is an embarrassment but I was shocked that MOTD2 finished by mocking his simulation of being hit in the face.
3. Without help from the officials, the game showed how average MU are. (Even though Fernandez got away with stuff)

Liverpool:
1. A run of: MU, Bournemouth, City, Chelsea and Arsenal coming up, suddenly they are full of energy and running for a full 90 minutes. Great timing. Looks suspicious to me.
2. Most of their goals were not crafted. They were MU gifts. The front three (and midfield) were not ripping MU to shreds with brilliant inter play, despite what the media say.
3. Despite that, delighted we have them at Home, and Arsenal have then Away. At Klanfield they are a completely different outfit.
4. Will they try as hard against Arsenal, if they know it will help our cause?

Point 4- its irrelevant whether it help us or not, they are desperate for top 4 for a thousand reasons. They will be going for them. Are they playing Arsenal or us first?

Yep you are correct, they need those points.
They play City first. Hopefully, City win and they are even more desperate for the points.

Dermot Gallagher:
Common sense prevailed. Lineman touched Fernandez first, to advise him to cool him down. Then Fernandez touches lineman. Seemingly this puts the Ref in an awkward position as Fernandez could complain about the linesman if he was booked. And anyways, the linesman intervention was successful as Fernandez just got on with it.
NO City player would get through a game without any cards if they behaved like Fernandez did yesterday.
Another subjective interpretation then.

Unsurprisingly the FA have deemed not to take any further action against Fernandes. A referee charity had called for a 5 match ban to show that its not acceptable to touch match officials however slight the contact is

He literally pushed him away, the linesman looked immediately at the ref to say, “what are you going to do?!”
