I've been critical of Jack a lot since he joined us and for a long time questioned whether he was good enough for us. But he has been fantastic lately and has become one of our key players.

I admire his honesty about how difficult it was for him when he first joined us, and he clearly has made a big effort to prove himself.

The thing I love most about him is his reaction when he assists or scores a goal. It means so much to him. The rest of the squad clearly appreciate him and respect him.

He's been gradually demonstrating his importance in big games but today was all about him. He was phenomenal and Liverpool were shit-scared of him every time he got the ball.
