Thailand you say?

Am sure you can go back to the hotel happy regardless of the result…

Mate I'm a seasoned veteran with Thailand, I know the ins and outs. My wife is Thai, I met her at uni. I wouldn't dream of playing away.

Score ten today though and I'm absolutely slinking off for a celebratory brass. Only fair innit.

Fwiw I've already written off the league. Arsenal have too good a run in. I just want to see us push them all the way, make them earn it rather than winning it because we've been shit. Just go out and show everybody we're still the daddies and we'll be back next year.

Thing with akanji is he needs to show he can flourish in this setup. Every solid back four always always always has two centre backs, one who is studious and silky in defence and the other blood and thunder. Think back to arsenal of old, united with palister/Bruce, vidic/Ferdinand, kompany/lescott and Dias/stones. If akanji can't solidify his spot alongside Ruben then abandon the experiment, bring stones back inside and half Kyle or Rico out wide.

Seen the article on the BBC and Sky in which Pep has reportedly said it’s unlikely Walker will play much in the run in as he can’t adapt to his system of the full back dropping into midfield.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65219020

Wow. Imagine saying that about one of your players at the business end of the season. Once you fuck Pep off there’s no coming back

He apparently he said Walker hasn’t got the brains to do so!

Does it devalue him? If we want to sell in the summer and Pep has basically dogged him to the world, won’t teams offer us hardly anything for him? Doesn’t make sense to call a player out publicly.

It is an odd one. But if we were to sell him in the summer I think there wouldn’t be a shortage of suitors. He would fit in very well at virtually most clubs

All Pep said was he hasn’t got what it takes to play the role Stones played last up. He’s fine in a back four. Maybe Pep will revert to that from to time against Bayern away for instance.

I believe Laporte will be flogged in the summer and we'll probably be chasing that Croatian fella, can't remember his name. Akanji is a gap filler

I don’t get why we have that lump akanji panting ahead of Walker .
All Akanji ever does is pass back pass back and pass back again .

He’s shite
