Akanji looked scared stiff to go forward, never seen anyone pass back so much.
The Jack and Kev show again today- brilliant both of them plus Mr Least Touches managing to touch it at least twice.

PeP has to go back to a flat 4 at the back - we are so fuckign vulnerable when he goes the other way.

Totally agree, lets stick to footie, who even likes some green shit that makes your piss smell so shit!! Most overrated "vegetable" on the planet

First goal, was critically timed at that point. The assist for their goal was just one of those determined "bring it on" runs, fair play to him.

The real test comes on Tuesday

Actually glad Bern isn’t getting a game now. A few said we’ll miss him when he goes and they were panicking. He offers a lot of running but we can get someone in to do that. He’s wanted to leave for three seasons so he should be back up and cups until we finish.

Spot on analysis.

Unfortunately Lavia will end up at the Rags or Arsenal. We’ve fucked up and he’s not coming back here.

Fingers crossed. But I don’t think the buy back kicks in until summer 2024 So if they go down this season other clubs will bid and we’ll have to match them.

Pep’s comments make no sense. He couldn’t offer him first team so why not loan him if he’s that highly regarded? We’ve sold with a meaningless buy back.

I went to the Wycombe game last season. I think he was 17 and he stood out. Like you say a loan would have made perfect sense

Especially when we’ve done it with McAtee, both Doyle’s, Delap (two disastrous loan spells), Wilson-Esband, Harwood-Bellis and Mbete.

Even if Lavia has said to us that he wants to leave for game time it’s up to us to convince him to just go on loan. It’s like we crumble whenever a player tells us they might want to leave.

Well, he knows he cocked up after seeing how Phillips turned out. He realises he let a gem go for nowt. Actually it's starting to piss me off the more I think about it how they structured this buy back clause. He best not end up at rags or Arsenal

The sale helps massively with FFP though - probably decisions by the accountants rather than football department

^^^^^

This debate about Lavia sums up the modern world.

There is nothing wrong with admitting you made a mistake or two. You learn from making mistakes too.

In the Media this week it was mentioned that Phillips could move on in the Summer.

He chatted at length to Lavia after the game , perhaps you don't get those post game streams.

Either way, buying Phillips and selling at a loss is not as bad as buying Pogba for all that he cost or Harry Mag.

Like any business , when it’s not your own fucking money that is at stake then managers don’t give a shit.
