De Bruyne

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

De Bruyne

Postby South Coast Blue » Sun Apr 09, 2023 11:03 pm

I can't believe there's no chat on here apart from one post about this mega milestone. We all talk about the impact of haaland and he is fantastic. I'd like to raise a glass to king Kev. When he's not on form he fucks the team because those Ron Atkinson Hollywood balls don't make it through! But, but, but, when he is marauding through like Yaya in his pomp or just when he puts THAT pass through, silva-esque, OR he smashes a drive in from 35 yards to win the game , we all say well it's Kev, we expect it. Mark my words, when he goes we'll miss him, like any hero, I'm just thankful that he and other great players continue to play for us. This is a seminal moment in our history! Enjoy my fellow blues, we will claw arsenal back. This will be the sweetest triumph of them all!

One of the greatest to ever lace boots in the prem but will likely not get those plaudits until he hangs them up I feel. World class.
Tracking back is overrated.

That happens to them all PBL, aguero, Silva Kompany, Toure, all broke records in their own way, aguero 's goal will be talked about for all time like dickov's. Yet the commentator and press talking that arse v lscum was the best game ever! They are desperate for us to lose which is why when we do the champions league and PL double they wont be to ignore us anymore as the best PL team ever! CTiD

It’s a great point. But with broadcasters pundits agendas clear as day. Silva to Kev and so many more, wankers like Neville are not skilled enough to acknowledge or share the time these world class are in our league the way older commentators did for the audience.

We have self taught rags and scousers who frankly are not only robbing a living they are actively playing down the obvious, yet lick arse when in the company of the same players and managers. If it goes well v Bayern and we have some magic. The studio with camel gob for example will not hide his pathetic disappointment. Kev is on a level they or anyone they played with could only admire. It’s shameful.

No doubt, one of the best the prem has seen and certainly a City great. Past couple of seasons he has had spells where he's not been his best. Been excellent since Pep kicked him

If he plays his cards right he might get to the level of Super Jack.

He’s not even in the top 50 most expensive signings but would get into any team in the world. I don’t remember him ever being linked with a move away and while he’s had patches of poor form his consistory high level over the 8 years or so he’s been at City puts him in legend status for me. When he is on it he is unplayable and some of his passes for assists have been masterpieces. Any pundit who doesn’t rate him in all time top ten Prem players is either and idiot trying to provoke a response or really does not deserve to be anywhere near football. I hope he sees out his time with us and the becomes part of the coaching set up. Seems to be a bright bloke who could end up as a top manager if he wanted.

Over 160 PL goals and assists in less than 8 seasons. PFA player of the year, Footballer of the Year, he's been the best player in the country for years. Even when he's having an off day he'll still produce something. The guys a genius, if only he wasn't in decline

I’m sure I read somewhere he’s never won a PL player of the month

This ^^^

It amazes me how the media pander to the Scouse and Salford scum. They are supposed to be journalist first and foremost and have good footballing knowledge. It's all bullshit, the amount of player of the month and manager of the month our.premier league legends have received is paltry in comparison to the mediocre red shithouse clubs.

For example.

Question 1
How many premier League player of the month awards have David Silva (4 premier league titles) and Vincent Kompany (4 premier league titles) picked up between them?

Question 2
How many premier League player of the month awards have Marcus Rashford (0 premier league titles) and Steven Gerrard (0 premier league titles) picked up between them?

Answers
Question 1 answer = 1 ( David Silva in September 2011)

Question 2 answer = 10 Gerrard (6) and Rashford (4)

Beggars fucking belief

Always been the same mate.
That's why I ended up following City, because all the sheep at school were rag fans.
There's so many red shite bandwagon jumpers, both rag and scouse, that it's inevitable that the media will be infested with them
