To be honest, I don't really mind a steep price considering the deals we've done with them in the past (although I know there's no room for sentiment in business), but I don't see who else would be in the market for him now to inflate the transfer fee. Unless Newcastle are dark horses in the race if they get CL football.

How fucking pretentious is it for a football club to first of all leak to the media that they are "pulling out of the race " to sign Bellingham and then follow it up with the manager saying as much as they'd love something, they have to do things differently?!

Every fucking club that either can't afford or simply misses out on a player could release this bullshit each time.
