One of the most enjoyable games I've watched in the last few seasons. Very little diving and cheating if any atall. Every single player had a good game. Dias Ake and Bernie absolutely brilliant and two or three others not far behind. Exciting times.
Edit. Rodri was magnificent, a collossus.

I can't get overly excited until we're in the final. Great performance but it's a long way to go. I hope complacency doesn't set in second leg and semis.

I'm off to twitter to abuse Humphreys and get banned.

Much as it pains me to say it, camel gob seems the only one who gives City due credit.

That was brilliant, they're a good team- make no mistake and that's about the only time at home in ages that I can remember that we didn't have the most possession but we defended superbly. I gave Ajanji grief on Saturday, he was great tonight as was Ake, Stones and Dias. Bernardo just MOTM for me but I agree with Cundy on Talksport on my way home who said we were that good that up to 6 players had a case. Ederson was great as well tonight, certainly got his save ratio up.

We conceded three goals in the space of five minutes away in Madrid last May. This tie is far, far, far from over.

We conceded 2 goals in 90 minutes in Madrid whilst scoring 1. It's not over obviously but 4-3 against Madrid had us slight favourites- this is totally different. Do you not think we'll score there. The longer it goes the more they'll have to take chances which will open it right up for us.

The trip in Krautland will be difficult. They will try anything to fuck us and will be interesting to see who will get to be in charge.
I think it's absolutely crucial to score first and not lose our heads.

Going back to last night, I think the defense won us the game. All four, including Eddie, who had a personal showdown with Sane, were incredible. It's funny how football is, Dias saves a goal and then we go and score the opener from Rodri. How many times did that happen against us? I've lost count.

They were superb, all of them. It shows how good we are when there aren't other forces around to change the game. The ref was spot on so.

The unity between our boys can't be bought. Those are the real mentality monsters.

The Champions League is a crazy competition. One lucky bounce in the box for the opposition, and suddenly seven minutes later you find yourself 3-0 down, with all your work over the past two hours erased and the home crowd baying.

Seriously, I cannot decide if you are on a constant wind-up with these comments of the sky falling in. Enjoy the fact that we have just taken a massive step towards the semi finals of the chumps league after one of our greatest chumps league performances. If that does not make you happy then it's clearly not for you
No-one is taking anything for granted-our capitulation in Madrid will serve as a warning to that but when we are on it, sit back and fucking thank your lucky stars that you have the privilege of watching the football that we are playing

Any reason why we booed Cancelo? Bit pathetic really as he’s still our player. Totally unnecessary in my opinion and gives the media and other fans a stick to beat us with

Imagine Bernardo going home last night absolutely buzzing his head off and his Mrs pecking him, “but but you still want to leave though don’t you?!”

Hopefully she had a chat with Sane's Mrs.
Sane got a great ovation by us by the way

Is any great bird in the UK now that can have a personal discussion with him? Is Kate Upton still available?
Maybe Grealish can suck him off.

I will miss our little duracell rabbit.

PeP agrees as well...he fuckign loves him.

Probably due to his comments whilst at Bayern - maybe something got lost in translation but he didn't do himself any favors did he ?

Hes 100% not coming back and to be honest , we wont miss him.
