Quite curious about today's lineup considering our midweek trip to Munich & the fact that we can't afford to drop any points in the league. Any updates on KDB's fitness/possible injury from the Bayern game?

No change from Tuesday I reckon but more early subs if we get a few goals cushion,
Ederson;
John Stones, Manuel Akanji, Reuben Dias, Nathan Aké;
Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri, İlkay Gündoğan;
Bernardo Silva, Erling Haaland (F/L), Jack Grealish:

Bench: Stefan Ortega, Kyle Walker, Aymeric Laporte, Kalvin Phillips, Riyad Mahrez, Julián Álvarez, Rico Lewis, Sergio Gómez, Cole Palmer.

City win 3-0

Can't let up. Can't rotate all that much. Drop points again and the title race could be lost before we even get a chance to reestablish ourselves in it.

I reckon Leicester will leave everything on the pitch for a point. In a relegation fight, a result at the Etihad is a morale boost, and a defensive shape is the easiest thing to work on for a new manager with limited time, like Smith.

Ederson

Akanji/Dias/Ake

Stones/Rodri

KDB/Gundogan

Mahrez/Haaland/Grealish

The only real change I'd make from midweek is to have Mahrez on at RW instead of Bernardo, to give us a bit more goalscoring threat down that side. Could maybe look at Laporte switching in for Dias or Ake, but Laporte has spent so much time out in the cold and we've no idea what form he's in.

Same starting line-up as last Tuesday. Look to wrap the game up and then rest if we can. Simply have to win and keep the pressure on. Be a tough game this one

I know it is stating the obvious but we simply need to put these to the sword very early and i mean early,

2 up within first 10 or 15 and their heads will drop.

No goals in first 15 and they will fight like its the world cup final.

This time of year i hate playing teams in relegation fight, they have no right getting anything against us by their own doing.

I’m expecting a difficult match. Leicester will get a new manager boost and we had a hard game on Tuesday even if the performance was excellent. I presume Leicester will defend deep and look to the odd break and set piece. So important to take our chances. An early goal would be nice.

This is a twitchy bum match.
As usual, I'm not optimistic.

I hope Phillips gets a start today. Rodders needs a rest.

I know what you mean, but it’s a bit risky.

Laporte at left back? Slightly surprised Alvarez isn’t starting but it’s a strong side. Tielemans back will help Leicester.

I don't like it when you're overly confident, we seem to trip. Come on Notts, stick some negativity in your post

Yes ,however this is an established back four for City. Those four have played many times at the back . So no excuses for them here today.
