Taking stuff in the ground

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Taking stuff in the ground

Postby Scatman » Mon Apr 24, 2023 7:39 pm

On Wednesday I'm going to the ground straight from work and I have to take my work laptop with me. Question is, will they let me in the ground with it? And will I be able to carry it in in a bag?

The following articles must not be brought to the Etihad Stadium: weapons, air horns, narcotics, fireworks/flares, bottles/cans/glasses, perfume, cameras, long umbrellas, food/drink, selfie sticks, tablet PCs, pushchairs/prams, backpacks, holdalls, rucksacks, and other oversized bags are not permitted.

Not sure if tablet PC includes Laptop.

Not even allowed a rucksack or backpack. Not sure about a laptop bag.

Thanks Mase I'll take that as a no. Can you post a link? I've looked on the OS but didn't see that list.

I think this is covered above but, yeah, you won't get it in.

They kicked off when I brought a toddler sized bag for my toddler. Frisked him for raisins. Told me I should've emailed the club in advance for permission.
All we are saying is give Doug a pass.

Ridiculous. Who does security now? It’s not Show-Sec anymore is it?

Some fluorescent barstards.

At least they're not as bad as the bar staff - people who've never been to a bar, bought a pint or worked to a deadline. Should be like an F1 pit crew firing Fosters out of beer cannons.
