The view from the away end

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The view from the away end

Postby CuteMancs » Fri May 05, 2023 12:49 pm

These are possibly the most negative comments I have seen this season, not even the fabled new manger bounce is providing any hope. I am on holiday for this one, so I would like City to win but not by double figures if I am not there to witness it.

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Andy Madley
Assistants: Harry Lennard & Nick Hopton
Fourth Official: Thomas Bramall
VAR: Simon Hooper
Assistant VAR: Natalie Aspinall

Team Selection

Meslier
Ayling
Firpo
Roca
Koch
Wober
Harrison
Forshaw
Rodrigo
McKennie
Gnonto

And the rest...

They will get 6 or 7 against us on Saturday. Welcome to the machine big Sam.

They will beat us easily but I don't think they need the big guns in their side to do it, they have Madrid on Tuesday and will probably want to rest players... 5 – 1...Full strength Man City? Double it.

Listen, we're gonna get battered by Citeh there's no two ways about that.So the best thing Sam can do in the short space of time he has, is to concentrate on how he can get points from the last 3 games.

We might as well not bother showing up...pity there’s not an option to forfeit a game and take it as a 3-0 defeat.

Trying to find something else to do Saturday eve instead of watching this.

'm not joking here guys. If they get an early goal they could go on and get double figures...10-0

I thought this with Javi but they’ll get a bounce with a new manager and City played full strength for 90 min week so I think the big game players will either be a bit part until they’ve won or be rested altogether for the CL. 3-0 Man City which will be respectful. No matter how we play can’t see us getting anything out of this even with City’s reserves.

t’s just a game of footy lads so enjoy it and no need to get too down if we lose.
Basically a free hit before the real fun and games starts next Saturday against Newcastle.

We haven't the quality, no where near in comparison, we'll have to rely on hard work, stick to the system and some lady luck, unfortunately she rarely shines on us.

I would imagine it is quite hard to feel new manager bounce when that manager is a geriatric Sam Allardyce.

Enjoy your holiday, CM, and thanks as always.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Cheers as usual CM

Can't blame them for being pessimistic. Appointing BFS isn't going to generate a lot of enthusiasm

Don't think we will batter them though. I'd imagine the team selection will have Tuesday very much in mind. The three points however they come will do me
