Pep makes things clear about the penalty. He could care less about hat tricks.

You're right - he's taken Haaland off when he's scored 2 a good few times and even when he was on for a double hat trick against Leipzig. Ridiculous giving it Gundo, 3-0 to 2-1 in seconds and 1 mistake from letting Arsenal back in it. Shame because Gundo was brilliant other than that. Rico is a lovely footballer. Alvarez was the big disappointment today

Foden looked bad today or is it just me?
Except that penalty he was very one sided, something we always say about Mahrez. The pale Gascoigne looks predictable when he is on

Maybe he feels better on the right? To cut inside with his left?

Oh come on ! there were plenty of chances in the second half . Controlled yes, arrogant no.

if we just keep passing it and not doing nowt with the ball to score, it could of cost us 2 points pep was going fucking mental with the pen

but we were not just passing it around , we were attacking all the time , it just wasn't coming off in the second half . Gundos penalty miss is irrelevant , we were not getting the chances we had right.

out of his comfort zone in the first half, left on the periphery - second half more involved and showed some good touches. He is way off the same level as the rest of our midfield yet though.

He was great after the 1st few minutes, always wants the ball, always available. Great ball to Haaland that he should have scored. So comfortable in the inverted full back role

I think there is some over-rating of this lad. He's young and way too slight as it is. Not convinced he was the right selection today and I thought he was iffy. Undoubted ability but I am not convinced he'll make it at City. Just an opinion and I hope I am wrong.

JC is spot on though, he is miles off the others, miles off. We all want him to break through, of course. I just don't see it, as I don't with Palmer.

M6 was easy today, for a change. How that was 2-1 is a mystery. Played with 22 eyes on Tuesday, no doubt.

Leeds completed 112.

He was peak Gundog first 45. Incredible player on his day. Wants 2 years, we offer 1. Why? He's got 3 in him. Nuts to let him walk, fucking nuts. There are no replacements for him currently walking the planet.

i think we should give gundo the contract he wants, we should keep Walker and Bernie . Kalvin simply thought coming to us was enough , it isn't. so let wet spam take him - cut losses.

Get Caicedo from brighton , the hid , like rodri has is a machine. Possibly even Mac from Brighton.

Wow. I thought Rico showed he is going to be amazing. The ball to Haaland 1st half, a kid this age has no right to be able to do.
What position will he end up is the big question.

All about opinions. To be trusted to start in our team at such a young age tells us that Pep has that trust and faith. Contrast that to Phillips who Pep could not trust even in the absence of Rodders. Agree with Hazy re Rico, I don't know what positiin he will end up in but whilst Pep is here, Rico is going nowhere

It is all about opinions but I remember everyone saying a certain David Silva was way too slight to make it in the Premier League when he first came.
This kid captained City and England under 18s last season, he's been with the 1st team all this season starting a number of league games when he' was only 18 in November. Foden never started a league game at 18- no kid here has been trusted like that at such a young age by Pep.
He's always available, dead comfortable on the ball and could have had 2 assists for Haaland yesterday, one in each half.
I think he's brilliant

I thought he had a decent game. Especially given how he hasn't had much game time recently. He was a touch rusty early doors but soon got into the match. And I do think he offers more in an attacking sense than Stones as he has a very good eye for a defence splitting pass.

Managed correctly this lad can be a mainstay for us for his career

he is being asked to keep things simple imo so don’t think we’re actually seeing what he is really capable of.
