Walker on now and for the first time in about two hours I’ve heard the name Vinicius JR.

Kyle had him right where he wanted him. Superb performance

This off the beeb :

Jack the lad
FT: Man City 4-0 Real Madrid (Agg: 5-1)
Jack Grealish created three chances for Man City tonight, taking his Champions League tally for the season to 35. It's the most of any player this term, and the most on record (since 2003-04) by an English player in a single campaign.

Crossie wrote:I’m struggling to believe what I just saw. I thought the first half was so poor from Madrid that they did it on purpose and thought we’d tire and they’d hit us with 20 minutes to go, they improved but had nothing.

Towards the end of the first half it was like they just gave up, I think they were mentally broken and just didn’t know what to do. You could see Vinicius Jnr remonstrating with Anchelotti and clearly indicating whatever the plan was, wasn’t working, but nothing changed.

Even if Inter park the bus, an Italian bus too. I just think we’ll have too much. Erling deserves a moment in the final and also I hope Kev does something major to crown his career.

Pep broke Ancelotti in the first game, he knew that anything but a win for them would leave them short.

The crowd has a huge say on games and coming back to ours on an equal score could never have been a good thing. Tonight shows how passionate our fans are when it comes to European games.

Well done, to all at the game and to those who would give their right arm to be there.

More to come and his integration into the team has been phenomenal.

before the game i listened to football "experts* on tv. Not one of them mentioned or worked out that Modric-Kroos 37 and 33 , in midfield , is perhaps just a little too old ?

This Madrid team would be mid table or even worse in the PL.

Every season, before the start, I say to myself how much I hate this corrupt competition, how this and that, then we pull something like this.
It's been a ride, 12 years ago we started in this competition, 12 years of heartbreak and finally now we are one game away (again) to win it and shut all those cunts up.

I will start to worry from tomorrow, but this night, this team became immortal.

Losing against Real, and not scoring, does that mean that Haaland will be reported as being off to Spain?

Just enjoy, let that confidence or worry come as the officials start the game.

Absolutely no way I’m sleeping tonight. Might as well just ring work now and say I’m fucked for tomorrow.

Watched the game on Virgin tv. Dunnie-monster was on there.

Lads the post-match bile from the host and Brian Kerr drivelling on about the money, the 115 outstanding charge. Kerr even said something like "and if the UEFA charges come back, who knows what will happen". I mean wtaf. I was hoping Dunne would say something about the charges being thrown out, and that we should be innocent until proven guilty on the FA charges. But they gave him no opportunity.

Expect the vile and vitriol to go up in the coming days and weeks as we shove the treble up their collective arses.

Tommy Martin was the host. He mentioned the money, the regime, the charges a few times. I wonder who he supports...

That would put our performance today into a quite another light. I do not agree with that sentence because they (the whole team) have been serial winners and won a quite frantic game vs us last year. Mid table team. Nah. They are better than the arse this year.

Loved the first half, that’s and obvious but loved the 2nd when we knew they had to take control of the game and come to us.
