Just back home. Top performance boys - what a team we have. We terrorised them fuckers and if Kev had had his boots on the right feet, who knows what the score would have been. Shout out to Courtois - what a save in the first half keeping out Erlings header. Bernie superb as was Rodders. The whole team and set-up was outstanding. We will take some stopping - what a time to be a blue

Berni's header for the second - just wow. Steered in from the edge of the box. Incredible goal

Just seen a replay of the fourth goal. Started with Alvarez, ended with him.

We terrorised them on both flanks. Bernie my MoM but Grealish was outstanding too. The difference from last year was that we weren’t handicapped by so many defensive injuries. Our defence tonight was absolutely full of determination and concentration. Dias as usual organising everything. The second goal pretty well finished things. They had more possession in the second half but only troubled Ederson once after we were three up. Great save to keep a clean sheet.

So proud of the team. We’ve been outstanding the last few weeks. Thrashing Arsenal, winning one tricky PL match after another and then schooling a good Real Madrid side. Incredible. Just one more push to beat Chelsea so we can concentrate on the two Cup Finals. Pep has to manage giving players enough game time but not too much. Kevin put in a decent cross for the third goal but he was running on empty. He needs a good rest and will surely get one before the Cup Final. Ake may be available for the Cup,Finals plus Foden and Mahrez Alvarez.

What a time to be a City fan. Enjoy it. Drink it in. Pep won’t be here forever.

Everything was fantastic tonight. The atmosphere was unbelievable and we played the so called European royalty off the park. Bernardo, Rodri and Walker all brilliant but Jack was MOTM for me. He had their full back on toast , kept taking them on and I don't think he lost the ball once. Thought Ederson was safe as houses as well

It doesn't get any better than that. What a first 45.

It feels different this year. Lessons have been learnt.

Did Pep mention how good the fans were? He digs us out a lot, it’s worth mentioning how class every single one of them was last night. Unbelievable atmosphere and they all stayed after the match.

Only a couple of negatives, Patrice Evra, what a cock, and Schmeichel. Why let them anywhere near our ground. Talk about hanging on to past glories.

Fuckin pissed me off seeing Ederson shaking Evra’s hand. It would be the equivalent of Rags allowing Liam Gallagher into OT on the pitch. Wouldn’t happen.

BT was a disgrace last night. Semifinal and they had on the pitch: Wio, Owen and McManaman, alongside Lesco who barely was allowed to talk.

Pep gushed about how great they were. The 10 minutes prior to the third goal was the only time they weren't blaring through the speakers.

Let's face it, we were all bricking it at that time.

Wio and Owen though, used nothing but superlatives about us all night. As a lot of mainstream pundits are at the moment. Hard to doubt such evidence, unless you are a complete twat like Evra

Brilliant, I’ll look for the clip. Was it on BT he said it?

Speak for yourself, Daz. The mighty real madrid had had two shots from outside the box in 80 minutes.
