Arsenal only dipped because of the Saliba injury. When Neville rightly pulled him on it asking why that would stop them beating West Ham and Southampton he still wouldn't budge. Neville again destroyed his argument saying they can't say they've lost the league because of 1 injury. Do all teams not get injuries and some don't just concentrate on the league.
Unfortunately he gets worse by the week- I'd far prefer Nedum as a pundit who always talks sense and comes across as a true Blue. I'd heard somewhere Micah was a Gooner, He's seemed to totally prove it recently.
He's quite embarrassing to be honest. Heaven knows why they have him on so much. Almost (almost) yearning for the days when there was no City representation at all!
I also thought Vieira was talking utter shite mostly too - maybe why he's just failed lamentably as a manager.
Meanwhile, sad to say but usually Roy Keane is the only one talking any sense and telling it how it is. I feel his managerial failings were probably on the motivational/man-management side of things, rather than knowledge.
the odious Murphy was actually trying to be complimentary for once, he actually described Walker as "England's greatest ever right back", Akanki was "brilliant", Dias "the outstanding PL CB" and he continued by praising Foden & Laporte for playing well and not whinging etc. Strange really.PeterParker wrote:john@staustell wrote:stupot wrote:Micah surpassed himself yesterday on the talking bollocks front.

Who constantly surprises me is Given.
He was last night on MOTD 2 and while Murphy was talking his usually nonsense, Shay was talking sense about both of the games yesterday. He seems biased towards us, but makes it look very professional.
Something that Micah is missing, sadly

In fairness it's not the BBC who brought it up, it's bitters texting comments in which then end up in the discussion.
Here's a particularly bitter example:
"If City win the treble, it will forever have an asterisk next to it due to their blatant flouting of FFP, leading to them having almost unlimited money to spend on players. United's '99 treble will remain the bigger, better achievement: lads that grew up playing together conquering the world of football."
Luke, Manchester
and this:
Is anybody allowed to reference the 100+ financial fair play charges against city or do we all have to keep quiet and ignore it?
Jonny, London.
There's a lot of people texting in defending City in the same article.

I wasn't going to link to it and what you say is partly true but there are a couple of lines in there by the beeb along the lines of "on the subject of" heres what people are saying. Its carefully choreographed by the team on ordsall quays

I am amazed you manage to decipher what the neanderthal is saying, JC.
Ratboy is a pot of poison and also incredibly thick, Micah can be insightful but is too ready to resort to laughing like a donkey to please his paymasters. He even tipped the dippers for the title this year to keep them sweet.Indianablue wrote:stupot wrote:Micah surpassed himself yesterday on the talking bollocks front.

He didn't say they 'only' dipped becausd of Saliba, he said Saliba was missed when he was out of the team. He said there were other reasons that they faltered but it was a yes or no question put to him. I thought he stood his ground against Neville who likes to dominate any discussion. Micah does talk bollocks but so does Neville.

And to be brutally honest I wouldn't trust him to get it right

Changed my opinion a bit about him after what he said. He isn't braindead like Van Dyke or Robertson.
He talked a lot of sense out of the blue.
