The home fans are super confident for this one, but after the midweek game I am not so sure we wont make a game of it. Still, its nice to have a relaxed sunny Sunday on the last day of the season no matter what the outcome. I am already stressed about next weekend, so I am going to enjoy today.

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: John Brooks
Assistants: Ian Hussin, Matthew Wilkes
Fourth official: Jeremy Simpson
VAR: Darren Bond
Assistant VAR: Darren Cann

Team Selection

Raya
Zanka Pinnock Mee
Hickey Damsgaard Janelt Jensen Henry
Mbeumo Wissa

And the rest…

They are likely to play a second string (obviously will still be pretty decent) I would have thought, so no need for 3 at the back. let’s go at them from the start and nick 7th.

I hope Pep plays his strongest 11. I don’t want them to come up with any excuses when we beat them and do the double over them.

If we beat them and get European football for next season I couldn’t care less whether it’s their strongest 11 or Under 18s

It could be the single time that we do the double over the treble winners.

There is no weak City XI just ones slightly shorter of the strongest team in the world. If we win it’ll be against the one manager who’s pretty much a BS free zone who’ll not blame the match schedule or minimise our achievement. Doing that would make excuses and I think they’ve got where they are by not excusing themselves for their own failures.

The narrative on their match day forum that we are a physical side is highly amusing.....mainly because it's utter bollox.

May 2008 Middlesbrough beat City 8-1. I think we can do better. 9-1.

Never post predictions but this is a game i genuinly think we will win…3 - 1 bees.

If we manage to kick off at 3:00 I reckon we could get an early goal......

Motivation for Europa Conference a big factor so we could very well win but for the same reason, either Villa or Spurs likely to win. On the other hand, City won't want to suffer only double of their season.

Cheers as usual CM and for your dedication throughout the season. It’s very much appreciated

I like that they are confident. Why not?

I hope we win just simply to get momentum for the cup finals. And if we do get to 90 points we’ll be the first club to reach 90 points in four seasons

Cheers CM as ever

Just 2 more after today and you can head for the beach for well earned rest.

I am sure it was tongue cheek mentioning that horrible day in Middlesbrough, but it has bought back unwanted memories.

Their hope for Europe is going to take a lot to happen in 90 mins over three pitches...

If i were spurs, I'd want to bin off Europe & concentrate on regaining top 6 next season because if they don't get back i can see Toons keeping it going forward.

That said, I am sure Villa will be happy to take the Europe spot off spurs and i don't think we will want to finish on a whimper, i fully expect Pep set up for a win.

Down the pub this aftie watching our game on my phone whilst keeping an eye on the relegation battle.

I don't see positions changing and won't miss either Leeds or Leicester at all.

Nice one, CM.

Enjoy your summer, mate.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

They think a lot of themselves. “City won’t want us doing ‘the double’ over them” We’re not arsed mate
